While a hood classic, Belly isn't exactly masterpiece theater type of shit. Yet there were many visually pleasing elements in the film [T-Boz's new growth wasn't one] that made me fall in love with it.

The pieces from Thierry La Goues Soul Series collection featured on Tommy's walls is still dope 10 a decade later.

    i loved that movie
    and it wasnt really the plot
    it was definitely the imagery throughout.

    This movie was excellent until Tboz with her Davie Crockett hair cut and Nas chipped tooth ass said ''Lets move to Africa'' I was too thru.. but the intro to this movie in the theatre was the BESTTTT!!.. even though the whole lets go to Africa thing made it a lil corny this movie was pretty good..

    my favorite part is when Method man said ''Is dat da baddest nigga in Nebraska'' is you bout it bout it fool'' when dude came out wit his flip curl, and big glasses while eatin a banana i fell out..

    now i wanna watch Belly..dammit fresh

    major props on this fresh.great idea on a 2nd blog where you can just be yourself.the best part of belly is where tyrin turner says hes gonna drop a dime looooollllll

    that movie is great. it was directed by hype williams so its jus like one big long music video. i dont buy movies (napoleon dynamite/american beauty comprise my entire collection) but i def. need to find this shih on sale somewhere b/c i cude watch it allday.

    the actours really made up this movie like u cudent jus substitute plies for dmx in the movie b/c it wudent work.

    hopefully dmx will quit the pipe long enough to make a sequel...

    I love Thierry's Soul Collection! I can't afford the original prints, but i'll take replicas. The whole collection is hot!
